  Excellent Sevice , Police are usually reactive rather than proactive ,This station has been proactive within the community with a peaceful domestic violence walk to work with the community in unison against domestic violence . All the officers are well mannered and will go beyond there duty to help and assist the public in all areas of law , I've had to call the station a few times for assistance with disturbances during the evening and aways they are kind and petrol and do there job well indeed.

  my wife went into the station to report that her wallet had either been lost or stolen in that vacinity. instead of taking details and issuing her with a file no. they showed no interest whatsoever. i have been sitting on the phone now for 10 mins to talk to some one and the phone just keeps ringing. not impressed.

  Went into the sandgate police station to report a crime that happened three weeks ago, had already spoken to another police officer from another police station by phone and was advised to go and report my situation. Got down to the sandgate station where the officer at the front counter told me they couldn't help me, but he went and asked his sargent. So both of them instead of fully getting the correct story decided to tell me what the the story was and that they couldn't take my problem as it was three weeks ago. I found them very difficult to deal with where they even told me other people were lying to me, I have since looked up the laws of time lines for reporting my problem and they had no right to treat me the way they did, to just dismiss me and should have taken my report. I am now going to another station and will report there.

  No wonder sandgate police have such a bad reputation they are rude and arrogant, but I must say there is a very lovely police lady who works at sandgate so it not all but very disappointing the the Sargent at the station is like that and others who follow by his lead are doing the same, if you don't like the job your doing find another one you are or should be customer focused and good communication skills are a must, if they bothered to listen to my story properly they would have understood the situation better. And not jumped to the wrong conclusion. From now on if I need assistance I will be going to Boondall or carseldine. sad for the community though, I have lived in this community for fifty years and the sandgate police station use to be some where you could go for help, if there is some where I can make a formal complaint I will be doing so.

  I lost my i phone Monday night in Sandgate called up Sandgate police station the officer on duty was extremely helpful my iphone was handed in and returned to me.

  Great service because they were extremely nice and huge help to my needs. They gave me sufficient sources and gave me contacts that the Boondall police refused to give.
